Our Social Conscience
our view on responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility is at the core of who we are as a business and goes way beyond just supporting our staff internally. Our CSR goal is to deliver positive, measurable and long-lasting impacts in the broader community, as well as reducing our carbon footprint. Although our focus mainly centres around helping the homeless and gender specific health issues, we encourage and support our team in any fundraising events they participate in.
We are proud of the support we have offered to a number of fantastic organisations, and of the environmental changes we have made in the office to date, however we also recognise that there is a lot more we can do and are committed to putting our values into action over the coming years.
The most satisfying part of working in the finance industry is knowing you've played an important role in clients achieving the "Great Australian Dream" of home ownership and helped them create security for themselves and their families. Yet thousands of Australians will go without food and shelter tonight. In fact more than 105,000 Australians are experiancing homelessness, many of whom are women and children escaping domestic violence. We want to help those who have fallen through the cracks and desperately need help.
That's where you come in
Every time we help a client with an element of their finances, we donate $30 to provide someone in need with a safe nights sleep.
why separate men's & women’s health issues?
For us it’s not a competition between Men’s and Women’s health, rather it’s about recognising the importance of both. Helping our clients set up and make claims on their life insurance and income protection policies exposes us to a range of health issues on a daily basis and has reinforced to us that there is a real need for gender specific health support. We also see the toll that money related stress can take on our client’s health, which is why we are committed to supporting education and informing the wider community about issues of concern.
