why I do it

I love people and problem solving so I get great satisfaction from knowing I’ve helped someone, be it a client or a colleague. There’s no better feeling than when a client sends us a heartfelt thank you message, refers us to a friend or comes back year after year for advice as it means collectively we really are improving their day to day lives and helping them realise their future goals. I also respect the ethics driven dedication of our team, and as a working mum, I really value the family-friendly culture at the heart of Choice Capital.

how I do it

I joined the Choice Capital family back in 2009 and work across all areas of the business. As well as assisting clients with their home loan enquiries, my role also involves taking care of marketing, compliance and internal processes. Having experience in each area of the business means that I can emphasise with both clients & colleagues enabling me to work on maintaining and improving the business, which in-turn ensures every Choice Capital client has a great experience!

who I really am

I’m originally from the outskirts of London and my husband is from Manchester. We came to Australia on honeymoon in 2007 and after falling in love with the whole country, we didn’t leave! Although I miss my amazing mum and friends, I'm proud to call Melbourne our home, especially as our beautiful daughter was born here.

Like many Melbournians, I love both eating out and entertaining at home. My husband and I love spicy food and our favourite restaurants are Baba ji, Acland Street Cantina & Uncle – all conveniently located in St Kilda where we live.

The arrival of our daughter has definitely brought out my inner crafter. In my own time I enjoy making candles, refurbishing abandoned furniture, editing photos and making costumes for her dress up parties. Sundays are family day, and are usually spent at Werribee Zoo, Collingwood Children’s Farm or a family friendly music festival.

I also try to travel as much as possible. I love the diversity of Vietnam and the laid back attitude and beaches of the Caribbean. I spent summers working in both Spain and Greece in my late teens which were great experiences and sparked my fascination for different cultures.
