The Choice Team

why I do it

I love that my role as a financial planner challenges me and drives me to continue learning as much as I can. I enjoy problem solving and strive to help educate my clients and set them on the right path. I like to be a sounding board for ideas, but also enjoy working with clients to help them make the most out of their often very different and individual circumstances. Having been at Choice Capital since early 2007, I also take pride in managing the business operations, marketing and culture, offering guidance to our team and watching the business go from strength to strength

how I do it

As I love really getting to know people and understanding all the different facets of their lives, I feel I work hard to get to the depths of my clients concerns and goals by asking wide and varied questions and really listening to their answers, thoughts and concerns. This is the key to enabling me to become their financial guide throughout their personal journey. I thrive on taking the time to understand complex matters so I can break it down and communicate it all in a straightforward manner, all whilst keeping up to date with (the constant) industry changes so I can help navigate clients through the hoops and hurdles of the financial planning world.

who I am

I'm originally from the UK but have lived in Melbourne for many years and it's definitely where I call home. Although I miss my family and friends, they continue to inspire and motivate me and I try to visit every year. That said, I’m very thankful to be an Australian citizen and have a deep love for the great outdoors lifestyle I have here.

Outside of work I try to live life to its fullest and enjoy keeping fit and healthy through a range of activities including tennis, cycling, hiking, yoga, swimming, skiing and to try and keep myself balanced, have even delved into making coffee tables! I love discovering new places that are a little off the beaten track and enjoy getting out of Melbourne for the weekend – whether it be a trip to the Mountains to go skiing, or down to Wilson’s Prom for a hike, I’m always up for an adventure.
